What separates ACCOR’s PUSHON® Technology from other “push-fit” products is its unique dual stainless steel gripper rings. This design is especially beneficial to providing an increased margin of safety for PEX pipe. PEX pipe tends to have a smaller OD than copper and varies in out-of-roundness and softness creating a variable application. ACCOR’s patented two gripper ring design doubles the contact area of the stainless steel teeth to the PEX pipe. ACCOR products require no metal internal inserts.
